Getting or exchanging links from your suppliers is one way to increase the SEO of your website. It has a positive impact and helps bring traffic to both websites, and is an activity worth the time and effort to do. Permanent links give the best results. If you use a web directory, it may be worth paying for to be listed. Your suppliers, however, should be first on your list of links to track down. Getting a link from your suppliers is easier than getting them to put your link on their website, but it is worth the attempt. Try using a testimonial in your link for having a better chance of it being accepted by the supplier to use on their website.

Using an image in your testimonial link, and having that link connected to an image is one SEO tip that you will want to cultivate. When you use photos, be sure to have a link with the image, and the caption that should accompany it. If possible, set the image within a naturally reading paragraph. The image will help keep the viewer on the website longer, which is good for SEO rankings. When you send out your link, or request a back link from a supplier, be sure to explain that a photo or map is an important part of any link and should be part of the link. If you use a press kit or product information, photos and maps are a natural.
